Inspired by Nature – Autumn Aspen

Every time I see someones art or the gift of nature’s beauty I’m inspired! With some, the inspiration is so powerful I have to weave some beads and create a little piece of art myself! It’s a thrilling ride, a color festival and I don’t want to go home.

Again it’s time to share a powerful gift of nature…Autumn Aspens on the North Shore of Minnesota led me to create another visual experience that will delight the eyes and spark the spirit!

2010 Summer Art Fairs

Saturday August 28th, was my last of the season outdoor art fairs for 2010, here was the scene every time I looked up from my tent. In the tent next to me, author Bill Baker with his new book “The Guide Shoots First”. Yep a published author! I thought this is amazing I have a published author sitting next to me and I am helping him with some tent maintenance and some display advice! Yep, I am now a pro after participating in 12 or so outdoor art shows and can give some pointers!

The summer shows were full of sun shine, rain, 30 mph winds, dust, 100 degree heat and a pet bunny nibbling at my foot. The young man who owned the bunny said the bunny liked to chew on leather…huh…what…he said,“ he likes you leather strap on your sandal” ah, but the bunny was chewing on my toe…oh well , a baby snapping turtle walking across my foot, okay what is with my feet and critters, if you get my mentioning this it’s because I find these little interactions so amusing and it gets me through some long hot days on the festival trail

Here is a bit of a recap, some treasures, some surprises and lots of smiles!
